Someone in the huddle turns AI notes on, and everyone is notified when notes start, stop or are canceled. The transcript sits inside the notes canvas. It does not work in huddles with external people or guests.

Can you record a Slack huddle?

Does a Slack huddle have a transcript?
On paid plans, if someone in the huddle turns AI notes on: the transcript is embedded in the notes canvas. Live captions are English only and are not saved after the huddle.
Do Slack huddle notes work with guests?
No. Slack says AI notes cannot be used in huddles with external people or guests.
Does Slack tell people when huddle notes are on?
Yes: everyone in the huddle is notified when notes are started, stopped or canceled. A recording you make on your own computer is outside Slack, so tell the people in the huddle.
