Client call transcription for consultants, with no bot in the call
A consultant uses Lesskeys to record a client call or workshop on their own computer, with no bot in the call, and to get a transcript that shows who said what. The audio is not uploaded; ask the client before you record, because Lesskeys never announces itself.

Your agreement
Check your engagement letter
Ask the client before you record. Lesskeys never announces itself.
Many engagement terms restrict sharing client information with other companies. The audio and transcript are not uploaded, but Lesskeys makes no claim about the rules in your agreement.
Who said what
Minutes that show who said what
Search the Library for a name, a risk or a decision, then play from that line.
Rename the speakers once and it reads like minutes. Labels can be wrong when several people talk at once, so check a line before you attribute it.
The write-up
Dictate the write-up
Say the status email or the trip notes, then paste them into the document.
99 languages help on a multilingual engagement, and it needs no internet once the speech model is on your computer.

Questions
Questions about Lesskeys for consultants
Does a bot join my client calls?
No. Lesskeys records on your own computer and never appears as a participant. Ask your client before you record, because nothing announces the recording.
Is a cloud transcription tool a breach of my NDA?
Check your engagement letter: many treat sending client audio to another company as sharing client information. Lesskeys turns the audio into text on your computer and does not upload it, but it cannot tell you what your agreement allows.
Can it label who said what in a workshop?
Yes, it labels each speaker and you can tell it how many people spoke. Labels can be wrong when several people talk at once, so check a line before you attribute it.
Can I use it on a plane or behind a client's firewall?
Yes for the transcription: once the speech model is on your computer, recording and transcribing need no internet connection. Whether you may record on the client's premises is a question for the client.
